NewJeans drops mythical music video of 'ASAP'
Global superstars Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein of fourth-generation K-pop girl group NewJeans recently made their highly-anticipated comeback with the release of their second mini-album Get Up.
The newly-released album included triple title tracks from the girl group with their own respective music videos. The title track “Super Shy” was the first to be released and saw a summer-themed music video. While “Cool With You” portrayed a story of forbidden love. “ETA” followed the summer vibe of “Super Shy” with an intriguing heartbreaking story about betrayal.
NewJeans did not stop there though and continued their promotional activities by releasing another music video, this time for their song “ASAP.”
“ASAP” is a b-side track of NewJeans' Get Up and follows the insignia sound of the girl group. Its captivating music video shows the members as mythical forest fairies who are surrounded by creatures of the forest. Later in the music video, it was revealed that these creatures were cute bunnies, the official fandom of the girl group.
Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein once again cement their stance as stunning Korean girls who can sing, dance, act, and produce astounding musical concepts like this one.
