After being dragged into a viral incident, US-based Filipina actress and producer G. Tongi reminds those who are going to watch the Broadway musical Here Lies Love about the show's security protocol.

On Threads, G. Tongi asked theatergoers who wished to have a photo opportunity and meet-and-greet with the cast to wait outside the studio.

She wrote, "Thank you so much to everyone in the Filipino community who has come out to watch @herelieslovebwy from all over the world to support! We really appreciate everyone who followed our safety protocols for our artists."

"If you want the chance to meet the cast & get your playbills signed, please proceed directly out of the theater to stage door after the show on 53rd street between Broadway and 8th. Maraming maraming salamat po!"

She also posted the map of the location where the public should wait for the artist.

In the two-minute video posted by Cristopher Retokelly Carpila, a group of fans gathered by the door of Lea Salonga's dressing room for a fan photo. Lea has been portraying the role of Aurora Aquino in limited shows.

When Lea respectfully denied their request, one of the fans mentioned that her friend named G. Tongi was one of the producers of Here Lies Love. Despite this, the award-winning actress stood her ground and asked them to wait for her in the door near the exit.

Lea told them, "Oh, okay. But still, you are not on the guest list. Can you wait for me at the door? I'm really sorry because our... No, sa pinto, I'll see you at the door, but don't go outside. Stay inside."

The fans then apologized then proceeded to go the exit where they had a chance to take a photo with Lea.

After the video became viral, Lea said on Twitter that she checked with G. Tongi if she had any idea of what happened.

She tweeted, "I checked in with G after this happened... she had no idea who they were."
