After much anticipation, the Taylor's Version of Taylor Swift's Speak Now has officially been released on Friday.

In an Instagram post, the award-winning singer-songwriter said the album is one she “wrote alone about the whims, fantasies, heartaches, dramas and tragedies I lived out as a young woman between 18 and 20.”

Taylor recalled how she had to make “tracklist after tracklist” to find the right way to tell the story.

“I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left behind some songs I am still unfailingly proud of now. Therefore, you have 6 From The Vault tracks!” she explained.

Taylor also shared that she recorded the album when she was 32 and the memories filled her with “nostalgia and appreciation.”

“For life, for you, for the fact that I get to reclaim my work. Thank you a million times, for the memories that break our fall. Speak Now (MY VERSION!) is out now,” she continued.

Speak Now (Taylor's Version) has 22 songs in total, with six From The Vault songs.

Taylor also collaborated with Fall Out Boy and Paramore's Hayley Williams for the songs “Electric Touch” and “Castles Crumbling,” respectively.

Speak Now features some of Taylor's classic songs such as “Mine,” “Back to December,” “Dear John,” “Ours,” and “Speak Now.”

In 2021, Taylor dropped the Taylor's Version of her albums, Red and Fearless.
