SHINee releases funky and eclectic music video of 'HARD'
Shawols, this is not a drill. Your favorite K-pop boy band SHINee has finally made their highly-anticipated return to the music industry as they release their eighth album HARD and its title track's music video.
“HARD,” the title track of the new album, is a hybrid hip-hop dance genre song that also combines other music genres such as boom bap, R&B, and '90s hip-hop in one track. It showcases the colorful flair of each of the SHINee members and cements Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin's commitment and passion for the craft.
The accompanying music video made our jaws drop and further proved that SHINee can go ballistic and take on any genre. Their versatility knows no bounds as they cater to different concepts and highlight each's raging talent.
What do you need to look forward to when watching it? Minho's sultry and deep voice as well as his sexy dance moves; Key's hip rapping skills and Casanova energy; Taemin's endearing voice and funky moves; and lastly, Onew hitting the high note effortlessly by the end of it.
Apart from “HARD,” new songs included in the new album are “JUICE,” “10X,” “Satellite,” “Identity,” “The Feeling,” “Like It,” “Sweet Misery,” “Insomnia,” and “Gravity.”
SHINee released HARD a day after they commenced their offline concert “SHINee World VI [PERFECT ILLUMINATION] in Seoul, South Korea. The three-day concert, held from June 23 to June 25, saw live performances from Key, Minho, and Taemin who have been long-awaiting to see their Shawols in person.
Shawols who attended the concert were in for a treat as they got to witness SHINee perform their old tracks as well as their new ones. The wait might have been long but they are now back stronger than ever.
Congratulations, SHINee!
