SEVENTEEN's Hoshi releases new song 'STAY'

The new song is Hoshi's birthday gift to his Carats!

Carats have once again become the most loved fandom by their favorite K-pop idols as SEVENTEEN's performance unit leader and ultimate performer Hoshi gifted them a new song in time for his birthday celebration.

On June 15, 2023, the horanghae instigator celebrated his 27th birthday and surprised Carats with a new song entitled “STAY” and released its music video on the same day. As Carats ourselves it's no new news whenever SEVENTEEN members release content on their birthdays as they want their fans to commemorate the special day with them.

“STAY,” the first solo song Hoshi released in 2023, talks about his love for his Carats who are the shining diamonds of his life. In the lyrics, Hoshi expresses how grateful he is to have them by his side and how he can't live without them, thus asking them to stay.

According to the credits, Hoshi co-wrote and composed the song with Glenn from PRISMFILTER and Nmore.

In the accompanying music video, Carats spotted a cute, fluffy, and soft Hoshi in an empty court riding his skateboard, serenading his fans, and energetically dancing to the beat.

SEVENTEEN has always been vocal about their genuine love and care for their Carats and never falters to express that to each and every one of their fans.

They strike the right balance between releasing quality music that captivates their passion for the craft and songs that give their Carats a sense of comfort, kind of like a warm embrace, on extra-long weary days.

In the past, Hoshi has released solo songs “Spider,” “Tiger Power,” and “Tiger” with Tiger JK. We can't wait to hear more from this horanghae power.
