Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz excited for people to watch 'The Cheating Game'
Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and dancer-actor and host Rayver Cruz will be starring in their first movie together, The Cheating Game, and they could not help but feel excited for people to see them on the big screen.
“Sobrang excited mapanood ng mga tao 'yung movie na ginawa namin kasi iba naman 'to sa napapanood nila sa'min,” Rayver said in their interview in the morning show Morning with GMA Regional TV.
He added, “Kasi wala kami sa 'All-Out Sundays' and 'The Clash' this time. Isang movie na talaga na JulieVer together so excited.”
Meanwhile, Julie said that “it's always a pleasure and a delight” to work with her partner, Rayver.
“Ngayon naman, nasa isang movie kami together kasi before nasa 'The Clash,' and ngayon, we're very happy and also excited na makita ng mga tao 'yung movie namin, first ever movie namin together,” she said.
In a previous interview, Julie shared how their movie was supposed to start two years ago, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this though, the actress-singer considers the delay a blessing since she was able to get to know Rayver better in the past years.
“Kasi, para mag-work 'yung mga kasi eksena talaga, you have to get to know the person. And I've known Rayver for quite a long-time. We've been really-really close,” she said in the interview for “Chika Minute.”
In a different interview, Julie said that she never had a hard time working with Rayver since they had known each other for a long time already.
“We've been best friends, we've been very close. Siguro mas lumalim lang 'yung work relationship namin kasi mas comfortable na kami sa isa't isa,” she said.
When asked what The Cheating Game is about, Julie answered, “Actually, the title speaks for itself already. The Cheating Game.”
“Halos lahat naman tayo or lahat tayo, nakakaranas ng ganitong klasing fear. It's not only with relationships, but also about life,” she said.
She added, “Feeling natin minsan madaya 'yung buhay, so lahat ng aspeto noon ay makikita nila sa movie.”
