Mariel Padilla has seemingly reacted to Angel Locsin's recent call-out of her husband, Senator Robin Padilla, through a subtle social media move.

Eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Mariel has unfollowed Angel on Instagram after the actress criticize the actor-turned-politician over his actions and statements on national issues, particularly after he recently said, "Komunista po ako."

Meanwhile, Angel continues to follow Mariel on Instagram.

Recently, Angel recalled her past conversations with Robin in a social media post.

"Nu'ng mga panahong magkasama tayo, madalas mong ikuwento 'yung panahon na namundok ka at nag-armas para ipaglaban ang bayan. Sabi mo pa nga, dinadalaw ka ng ex mo sa bundok," she shared.

The actress also posted a screenshot of one of Robin's remarks during the ongoing impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte. The image showed the senator questioning National Bureau of Investigation Regional Director Jeremy Lotoc about the background of "Operation Romanov."

"Sa statement mo na 'to, kahit papaano, natuwa akong makita ulit 'yung dating Robin Padilla na nakilala ko. At least, honest ka ngayon, Kuya," Angel said.

However, Angel questioned Robin's silence during the time she was allegedly red-tagged.

"Ang tanong ko lang, nasaan ka nu'ng panahong nirered-tag ako kahit alam mong hindi totoo? Actually, kasama mo pa nga at kachikahan 'yung mga nangre-red-tag. Naghugas-kamay at pumikit sa katotohanan," she expressed.

Angel also questioned Robin's principles as a leader, especially considering the trust that many Filipinos and members of the Muslim community have placed in him.

"Pero bakit parang mas ipinaglalaban mo pa si Quiboloy? Naniniwala ka ba talaga na siya ang 'appointed son of God? she continued.

She continued by expressing disappointment over Robin's stance on China.

"Isa ka sa pinaka-makabayang taong nakilala. Ikaw si Andres Bonifacio. Kaya nakakalungkot 'pag nakakabasa ako ng stand mo pagdating sa China. Hindi ito ang Robin Padilla na nakilala at hinangaan ko."

Despite her criticisms, Angel encouraged Robin to reflect on his principles and reconsider whom he chooses to serve.

"Kahit paano, alam kong halos pareho tayong landas na dinaanan. Galing sa hirap, nagtrabaho ng maaga, tinangkilik at nakapagpasaya ng mga tao. Ang utang na loob natin ay sa ating diyos at sa lahat ng Pilipino —hindi lamang sa isang tao."

She ended her message by urging Robin to reflect on his actions, writing: "Tama na, Kuya. Gising na. Hindi pa huli ang lahat."
