Mavy Legaspi used his TikTok account to raise funds for frontliners battling COVID-19.

Kapuso cutie Mavy Legaspi raised funds for frontliners battling COVID-19 on his TikTok account.

Mavy invited his celebrity friends to do the Something New dance challenge which is currently going viral on the app.

The challenge involves falling in line and dancing one by one to Wiz Khalifa's 2017 song, "Something New."

However, due to the enhanced community quarantine, he and his friends did the dance separately from the safety of their own homes.

The videos were then stitched together. Mavy was able to produce two videos because many participated.

What his friends didn't know was that Mavy pledged PhP 1,000 per friend who will participate in the video.

He was able to raise PhP 30,000 for COVID-19 frontliners thanks to friends like Ruru Madrid, Andre Paras, Ricci Rivero, Gabbi Garcia, Miguel Tanfelix, Kate Valdez, Darren Espanto, LA Aguinaldo, and many others.

Check out the videos below.

Please also consider giving a donation to the GMA Kapuso Foundation's "Labanan Ang COVID-19" campaign which will provide basic medical supplies for the workers at the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19.
