“Thank you Lord for your grace, thank you Lord for your healing. You are a faithful God!” writes Kuya Kim Atienza.

Kapuso television host Kuya Kim Atienza took a trip down memory lane and recalled the time when his physical health took an unexpected turn 12 years ago.

In an Instagram post, the Dapat Alam Mo! host shared a video compilation of his life-changing journey when he suffered from a stroke in 2010.

“12 years ago today when I suffered a stroke,” he wrote.

The renowned television personality then expressed his gratitude to the Lord for healing him during that challenging time.

He went on, “Thank you Lord for your grace, thank you Lord for your healing. You are a faithful God!

“'Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!--2 Corinthians 5:17.”

In July, the TiktoClock host recalled having an undiagnosed health condition in 2009. In his post, Kuya Kim revealed that his pudgy face at that time was caused by an undiagnosed Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism.

A part of his post read, “I was so in love with TV I neglected exercise and eating right. I suffered a stroke that changed my life habits a year after. I've lost around 12 pounds since. Thank you God for health and TV!”

Aside from this, Kuya Kim revealed in one of his vlogs that he was diagnosed with a rare disease called Guillain-Barre Syndrome in 2013. In an interview with GMANetwork.com, the 55-year-old media personality shared that the said disease made him close to God.

To this day, Kuya Kim maintains a healthy lifestyle by engaging in different fitness activities and a proper diet. In fact, he often posts his workout sessions and fitness progress on his Instagram account.
