Wil Dasovich's mom Charry tested positive for COVID-19
When thousands of Filipino families were grappling with the huge COVID-19 surge in April, Wil Dasovich's family was also in the same boat.
In his latest vlog entry in his Wil Dasovich Vlogs channel, the famed Fil-Am YouTuber revealed that his mother, Charry Lising-Dasovich, also contracted the highly contagious virus.
Charry is also the first cousin of TV broadcaster Karen Davila.
Wil shared, “Pero bakit naiwan si Inay (Charry Lising-Dasovich) sa Pinas?
“Well, initially they ordered another lockdown noong Abril (2021) kaya nahirapan si mudra na bumalik sa Maynila, kasi nasa Mindoro siya visiting my lola.
“Pero when she was able to finally travel to Maynila, may nangyari sa kanya habang nasa transportasyon. Something na medyo malala and she kinda keeping it as a secret from us.”
He then recounted the symptoms experienced by his mom Charry, who was suffering from fever and headache, and even gave a sneak peek of their video conversation with her at that time.
She also told Wil during one of their conversations that she was stuck in the Philippines for five months.
Charry said, “I have been there since December (2020) remember. I could have left in April, but the whole April I was sick for a whole month.
“I wasted my whole April by being sick and being in my head.”
