Enzo Pineda thanked the frontliners for attending to him and his dad when they contracted the virus.
StarStruck alumnus Enzo Pineda revealed that he has recovered from COVID-19.
On Instagram, the actor said that he and his father, Eric Pineda, recuperated at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City.
“Officially a COVID-19 survivor,” he said.
Enzo thanked the frontline workers who attended to their needs during their medication.
He said, “I want to thank my loving family and friends who kept me and my Dad in good spirits.
“Thank you to all the hardworking doctors, nurses, and crew of Cardinal Santos Medical Center who took good care of me and my Dad.
"Mga bayani kayo and salamat sa lahat ng sakripisyo na ginagawa niyo para sa ating bayan.
Additionally, the actor said the pandemic allowed him to be closer to his faith and belief in God.
He explained, “Definitely, this pandemic made me more closer to Him.
"I promised God that I will come out stronger mentally, physically, and spiritually after this experience. God is good.”
In the comments, Enzo's colleagues sent their regards to the actor and his family.

Enzo did not disclose when and how he contracted the virus.
His father, 1-PACMAN party-list Representative Eric Pineda, revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 on September 5, 2020.
It is unclear whether Enzo's father has recovered from the respiratory illness.
