Descendants of the Sun lead actor Song Joong Ki and his co-stars, Lee Hee Joon and Juana del Rio, are currently on a break from filming for the movie Bogota due to the ongoing outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Colombia.
The news was reported by South Korean entertainment site, Soompi, a few days ago.
The actor, along with the cast and crew, has decided to stop filming because of the rising positive cases in Colombia which include four deaths.
Song Joong Ki arrived at the Incheon International Airport last March 24 and has decided to undergo home quarantine for two weeks.
His agency stated, “Song Joong Ki returned to Korea on March 24, and thankfully he has no problems concerning his health.
"He will be spending some significant amount of time in self-isolation and taking the opportunity to rest in the meantime.”

Early this month, Song Joong Ki reportedly gave more than 100 million won to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to help fight the coronavirus 2019 or COVID-19 as the country faces over 9000 confirmed cases.
