Derrick Monasterio shares objectives for putting up his home gym
From a bare garage, Kapuso hunk Derrick Monasterio transformed the space into a sleek home gym complete with neon industrial interiors.
In an interview with 24 Oras, Derrick shared that he did not just put up his home gym to keep up with his workout routine but also to ensure his safety from contracting the coronavirus.

“Matagal ko na po talaga dream magkaroon ng home gym ever since nag-start ako magbuhat. Very timely din kasi may pandemic ngayon para 'di na rin po ako lumabas-labas para safe sa family ko, sa mga taong makaka-work ko,” he said.
With the help of Moss Design House, the actor attained his dream home gym.
"Never in my wildest dreams I dreamt of owning a home gym. Been working on this project for months and with the help and expertise of the top interior/event designing company in the Philippines, @mossdesignhouse, it happened. I'm speechless," he wrote on Instagram.
Just like any other fitness enthusiast, Derrick has slow, lazy days, too.
“Ang maganda rin dito sa home gym kasi wala kang excuse para hindi mag-workout kasi paglabas mo ng house makikita mo siya,” he said.
