The daughter of the late multi-awarded actress Cherie Gil, Bianca Rogoff, issued a statement on Instagram Story after receiving a direct message from a netizen questioning her why she was partying considering her mother just died.
Dubbed by fans and regarded by her peers as the “La Primera Contravida,” Cherie passed away on August 5, after losing battle to cancer.
In her Instagram post, Bianca defended herself and stated that her mother would approve of what she's doing right now.
She explained, “Life is sacred and should be valued and honored, and most importantly, lived. And if you knew here, she'd be the first one to tell anyone to live their life adventurously and joyfully.”
Bianca continued, “I am grieving and that is similarly sacred- but it is not my job to show you that. I love my mother and am allowed to grieve as publicly or privately as I wish.”
For those who don't agree with her, Bianca noted that they can choose to unfollow her saying, “If you'd like to unfollow, please feel free. I will keep enjoying the life my mother gave and granted me.”
Bianca is Cherie's daughter with Israeli violinist Rony Rogoff. They also have a son named Raphael.
Meanwhile, the showbiz icon also has another child, Jay Eigenmann, with Leo Martinez.
