Addy Raj reveals he had to live separately from his father during ECQ
Meant To Be actor Addy Raj detailed his quarantine life while under enhanced community quarantine in the Philippines.
One of the hardest parts he said was maintaining his vegan diet when food choices are limited. "Oo, nahihirapan din ako lalo na sa pagkain dahil vegan ako, so siyempre may sariling diet ako.
He added, "Pero okay pa naman kasi meron pang deliveries."
However, Addy added that he had to face a tough decision when the ECQ was implemented a week after his father arrived from India.
"It's a really sad situation kasi nandito 'yung tatay ko and ito ang first time niyang pumunta ng Pilipinas.
First ever boomerang with my dad! 😍 Happy birthday Daddy! 😁

"It's very sad na ito ang nangyayari and he's already 61 years old," Addy said.
Addy decided to live separately from his dad to maximize social distancing.
"I had to make a decision na kung gusto ko na magkaroon ng deliveries, kahit nasa quarantine pa rin ako, medyo exposed pa rin ako.
"So I made this decision of putting him in a separate unit. So now mag-isa lang ako.
Dati magkasama kami, pero ngayon hindi na kasi gusto ko na sobrang isolated lang siya para to keep him safe. We don't have any physical contact para siguradong safe siya."
For now, he and his dad keep in touch by playing chess online. "We play chess all the time [online]. I have only won one game my whole life against him."
Living solo can be tough that's why Addy makes sure he stays disciplined and motivated by following a healthy diet, exercising, and making tasks he needs to achieve each day.
"Kahit mag-isa ako kailangan may disiplina lagi. Meron akong tasks to complete everyday.
"One of my top priorities is keeping fit. The first thing I do everyday is finding healthy food because sarado ang lahat and it's hard to find healthy food. I make sure I work out. Meron akong exercise bike and adjustable dumbbells."
