Toni Gonzaga shares why she was strict with Alex Gonzaga
Host-actress Toni Gonzaga penned a heartfelt message for her youngest sister Alex Gonzaga on her birthday and revealed the reason why she was strict to her growing up.
Toni uploaded a carousel of photos with Alex on Instagram and then wrote that she helped her experience what it is like to become a 'mom.'
“Happiest birthday @cathygonzaga! Pasensya kana kung strict ako sayo when we were growing up. Ikaw ang first hand experience ko what it's like maging mommy. Thank you for being everything I am not.”
The wife of Direk Paul Soriano added that she is grateful to her sister for loving her two children, Seve (Severiano Elliott) and Polly (Pauline Celestine).
“Ang saya ng childhood natin dahil sa mga kalokohan and kakulitan mo and even to this day you bring so much life every time you walk in the room. Even if may pinagdadaanan ka, nagagawa mo pa rin ako pasayahin.
“Thank you for being my best friend, my teacher at times, my enemy when needed and my defender always. I know this will be your best year because you have been nothing but the best to me pag meron ako pinagdadaanan.
“Thank you for loving my kids like your own… I know one day, in God's time, pag ikaw naman, your kids will have the most fun life because of their mommy!! You are a blessing to me and our family! I love you and I will always, always be here for you and Mikee! See you later!”
Alex is married to incumbent Lipa city councilor Mikee Morada and they tied the knot in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic in November 20202.
