John Arcilla is proud of his on-screen daughter, That's My Amboy star Barbie Forteza, for her recent win at the 36th Fantasporto International Film Festival. That much was revealed during his interview for 24 Oras with Cata Tibayan. The Kapuso actress won the Best Actress award for the Louie Ignacio film "Laut," where she portrayed a female Badjao.
In a true proud Dad fashion, John recognized Barbie's achievement and said: "Congratulations, baby! I love you!"

Barbie also revealed how overwhelmed she was when she heard the news. She exclaimed, "Sumisigaw ako sa bahay namin hindi ko talaga akalain."
