Miss Australia and Miss Germany share their opinion on who should've won 2015 Miss Universe

No one could have predicted that the 2015 Miss Universe pageant held yesterday (December 21, Philippine Time) in Las Vegas will turn out this way.

Steve Harvey announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, as the new Miss Universe when in fact Philippine representative Pia Wurtzbach is the true winner.

Miss Australia, Monika Radulovic, told the Australian morning show, Sunrise, that the 76 bets were all shocked when Harvey announced the wrong name of the winner.

Radulovic said, “I still really can’t believe it happened. The girls, the rest of us—the 77 contestants— were on the side of the stage and we actually saw the teleprompter. It said ‘Philippines, please take your first walk as Miss Universe’ after Colombia was crowned. So we were looking at each other thinking, ‘What are we waiting?’”

Meanwhile, a video uploaded on Facebook by Missosology of Miss Germany’s interview went viral with 2.7 million views as of writing. In the two-minute video, Sarah-Lorraine Riek, claimed that Miss Colombia deserves the title because none of the candidates voted for Wurtzbach.

“Because none of us vote[d] for Miss Philippines, I am so sorry to say that.

"I really couldn't believe it, I was so upset. For me (she was robbed) as the real winner. I was very happy for Miss Colombia because she really deserved it. I'm really not happy with the result and so are the other girls, I'm sorry to say it."
