Protégé finalist Denise Barbacena has become one of the most recognizable female talents in GMA Network, after televiewers lauded her amazing performance impersonating 'Kalye-serye' star Maine Mendoza a.k.a Yaya Dub.

Many netizens praised her and on-screen partner Juancho Trivino’s team-up in the 'Istambay-serye' of 'Bubble Gang.'
In a chance interview with Denise by GMA Network.com, the pretty actress expressed her utmost gratitude to the stars and production team of the gag show.
Denise explained that since she started with 'Bubble Gang,' everyone in the show welcomed her with open arms and made her feel at ease since day one.
She said, "I’ll grab this opportunity to thank everyone behind 'Bubble Gang' from our director down to our staff, lahat ng nakakasama namin sa field, sa set and sa dressing rooms. Sa mga cast kay Kuya Bitoy and sa lahat, personally I want to thank them all for being so warm and welcoming,"
"Ever since na nandito kami hindi nila pinaramdam na we have to keep up with everyone but pinaramdam nila na we can really get along and improve and we can work with them," Denise added.
The 'Istambay-serye' star also pointed out that 'Bubble Gang' helped newbies like her to improve and further hone their comedic talents.
"Hindi 'yung parang mayroon kayong walls. Team tayo dito and we can improve day by day. And thank you kasi nabibigyan kami ng chance to showcase kung ano 'yung kaya namin in terms of comedy and being part of 'Bubble Gang.'"
"Open sila na i-explore 'yung talents namin kaya thank you and more power to us and hopefully we'll work for 10 to 20 more years wooo!"
