Megan Young and Mikael Daez Vietnam Thailand Japan trip

Megan and Mikael took a trip to Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan within 100 hours! That's crazy!

Kapuso couple Mikael Daez and Megan Young shared their latest unique holiday celebration, on Thursday, December 26.

On Instagram, Mikael posted a series of photos from their recent trips to Vietnam, Thailand, and Japan, and he revealed that he it all happened within 100 hours.

It seems that Bonez and I have come up with our own unique Christmas traditions. For several years now, we've ended up going on adventures during the holidays. This year, we jumped from a mountainous province in Vietnam to a cozy cafe in Thailand to an amazing anime convention in Japan all within 100 hours!! It was crazy tiring but so much fun and we made sure to take as many photos as possible. Of course, when Boneezy goes into low power mode, a pack of Pocky comes in handy. One stick keeps her happy for an extra 5 minutes. So she needed 1200 sticks to keep her going for 100hours!! 😱😋😂 #PockyShareHappiness

In the span of 100 hours, we jumped around south east asia. We explored the province of Vietnam, had coffee in BKK and went wild with our anime fandoms in Japan! But, let's start with this little doggo that doubled as my coffee partner in one of the coziest cafes I've ever been to 😍

Finally putting in the time to sort through all my photos! While browsing, I found that I really enjoy the more candid ones. In this shot, we found a really cute Yatai which is a japanese version of a carenderia (that's just my own definition). It was big enough for 8-10 people and we squeezed in to take a break from the chilly winds of Fukuoka. Boneezy slurped on her ramen and I got an amazing Gyukushi otherwise known as beef on a stick haha :p Fun times!! :D Shout out to Cebu Pacific for a fun itinerary.

Megan likewise shared her perspective regarding their love for traveling.

“Fofo (Mikael) and I are known for not being gift givers. We decided early on in our relationship that if we were to give one another something during the holidays, it would have to be hand-made or we'd share an experience together."

She added, “We've given each other cookies, big Christmas cards, and a gaming console (sharing gaming experiences! Hahaha) and the list goes on.

“We have since moved on to sharing travel experiences with each other and family.

“This year we decided to take a spontaneous trip from Vietnam to Thailand and eventually Japan! The in-between moments always make our trip special.”
