Marian Rivera admits to being a submissive wife
Marian Rivera revealed in an interview with Karen Davila that she is a submissive wife.
After talking about her childhood and growing up without her parents with her, Marian described herself as a family-oriented woman.
"What about being a wife?" Karen Davila asked.
"Submissive kasi ako 'eh," Marian answered.
She explained, "Kasi gusto ko talagang pinagsisilbihan talaga si Dong. At saka gusto kong nararamdaman niyang I can give up everything--basta sa family, sila ang priority ko. Lalo na pagdating sa mga anak ko, 'yung schedule ko, i-a-adjust ko 'yan lahat, para makasama ko lang sila.
The Cinemalaya 2024 Best Actress and Tadhana host also shared that her colleagues know her dedication to motherhood. "At, alam ng GMA 'yan. Yes, kasi kapag nabubuntis ako, four years talaga akong nagpapahinga, na hindi talaga ako lumalabas sa TV."
She added, "Kapag malaki na 'yung anak ko at feeling ko, okay na, ayan, pwede na ako ulit magtrabaho. But straight, kay Zia four years talaga nag-out ako. Mas inisip ko, ito talaga 'yung pangarap ko, magsilbi sa pamilya."
