John Spainhour and Aya Abesamas are now engaged
Model and former US Marine sniper John Spainhour is now engaged to Pinay beauty queen Aya Abesamis.
Aya, who placed first runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2019, announced her engagement via her Instagram post last February 20.
She captioned her post saying, “Life just got a little more sparkly.”

Several beauty queens and models congratulated the two for their engagement including former Miss Universe Philippines title holder Gazini Ganados and Taguig representative Katrina Llegado, who will be competing in the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant.
John, who is half-Filipino and half-American won the fitness competition Century Tuna Superbods in 2012 and represented the country in the Mister World pageant in 2014.
