Age is just a number.

This is true for actress Beauty Gonzalez and her husband Norman Crisologo who, despite their 20-year age gap, have proven time and again that they are matchmade in heaven.

Norman, an art curator by profession, saw Beauty a couple of times on the cover of a magazine. Just by looking at it, Norman knew that he should meet Beauty. Fortunately for him, Norman and Beauty had a mutual friend: actress Ellen Adarna.

When he got her number, Norman called the actress and invited her to an event. In the event, Eraserheads played "Magasin" and suddenly, it became their song.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Beauty and Norman welcomed their daughter Olivia in 2016. Then, they got engaged in March 2017, and two months later, they got married.

One of the greatest battles that Beauty and Norman faced was when the latter got infected with COVID-19 with pneumonia.

In an Instagram posted on Easter Sunday this year, Beauty looked back on her husband's COVID-19 bout.

She wrote, "For the last couple of weeks my life has been put on hold, everything on my mind and in my heart suddenly changed."

Norman needed to be hospitalized "halfway across town, struggling for space and breath with dozens of other patients."

Beauty added, "The aloneness of this disease will kill the spirit even before it damages the body. The hardest thing for a wife to do is to just sit and wait for a sick husband to come home, not being able to be there and comfort him was against every grain in my body."

Thankfully, Norman fully recovered from COVID-19 and returned home.

"Nothing will ever be the same again," Beauty ended her story.

"Family is everything."
