IN PHOTOS: Glaiza De Castro and David Rainey's prenup photos

Glaiza De Castro announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend and now fiancé David Rainey, a day before Christmas.

The actress flew to Ireland on December 14 to spend Christmas with him and his family. According to Glaiza, it's her first Christmas in Ireland.

"Medyo nakakapanibago lang kasi galing ka sa tropical country, e. 'Tapos once you get out of the house nandoon na 'yung lamig, nandoon na 'yung hangin na medyo talagang nagpe-penetrate doon sa kalamnan mo," she shared to 24 Oras.

Glaiza first met David's family during a vacation in England back in February 2019. The trip was for David's 30th birthday.

David also got to stay with Glaiza and her family in the actress' home in Baler for a few months. This was after the pandemic hit and travel restrictions were set in place, leaving him unable to fly back to his native Ireland.

He says that he felt very welcomed by her family and wanted to extend the same to Glaiza as she visits him in his home country.

"We will take care of her, keep her safe, keep her warm, make sure she has lots of nice foods. Like, when I was in the Philippines from February to June, and Glaiza's family took care of me. We will do the same," he said in the same 24 Oras interview.

Glaiza and David have been together for over two years now.

They met in January 2018 in Siargao after checking in the same hotel.

The two bonded over their shared love of surfing and music. Since then, David made frequent trips to the Philippines to surf and spend time with Glaiza.

Glaiza is due to return to the Philippines by the end of January this year. Before leaving for home, she and David shot their prenup photos and videos in Donegal, Ireland.
