Bretman Rock explains how the New Year tradition of eating 12 grapes helped him find his lover
Bretman Rock claimed that eating 12 grapes at midnight during the New Year celebration was effective.
In 2023, the tradition of eating 12 grapes at midnight on New Year became viral online, and one of those who tried it was Bretman Rock.
In The Baddest Radio podcast, Bretman shared what he did on New Year's Eve that ultimately led him to find his partner. He said, "My grapes worked!"

Bretman shared the story of what he did. He revealed, "There's like this big belief that you eat 12 grapes under the table during New Year. At the strike of 12, you have a one-minute window to eat 12 grapes. You do it with a corresponding underwear. If you wear red it's love, green is for money, yellow is for health I believe, and there's other things."
Foodrepublic.com stated in their feature that the 12 grapes tradition originated from Spain. It is called "las doce uvas de la suerte," or the "twelve lucky grapes."
Bretman stated that he wore red for love while eating the 12 grapes. He is now in a happy relationship with Justice Fester.
He said, "I wore red underwear and ate 12 grapes and I found my lover."
Bretman shared in an interview that he met Justice six years ago, but their connection quickly faded. He mentioned that he recently discovered a message from Justice that was sent to him six years prior, inviting him on a date.
Bretman then responded to the message, “So, six years later, I'm like, 'Is that date still on the table?'”
Bretman revealed that he went on a date with Justice and is now in a happy relationship with him.
