Panlasang Pinoy vlogger airs frustration over stolen belongings during flight to PH
Content creator Vanjo Merano, who is popularly known as Panlasang Pinoy, could not help but air his frustrations when some of their belongings were stolen from their luggage during their to Manila from America.
In a vlog titled "Badtrip sa Pilipinas, which was uploaded on YouTube on January 22, Vanjo recounted their experience coming home to the Philippines from Chicagos during the Christmas season.
Even before they got on the plane, they already face challenges including broken TV remotes, headphone jacks, and food tray to which the US-based vlogger admitted, “Sobrang inis ko na nu'ng mga panahon na 'yun.”
Vanjo, however, said that he understood these inconveniences but expressed hope that the airline management will improve their services.
Unfortunately, the challenges during the trip continued when they arrived in the Philippines, where they had to wait baggage carousel for over an hour before they could get their luggage. Worse thing happened when they got home and found out that most of their “pasalubongs” such as bags, perfumes, and even chocolates, were stolen.
Vanjo, however, said that they couldn't blame anybody for their stolen things.
“Tatlong airport 'yung pinuntahan namin, hindi ko alam kung saan nawala 'yon. Hindi ko alam kung paano natin babasahin 'yung scenario na 'yon,” he said.
He added that they only wanted to make their loved ones happy during Christmas and that they took a lot of effort and saved up to buy gifts for them.
Vanjo even joked that the perpetrators knew what to look for as they only took the most well-known brands they have.
“Hindi lang talaga namin matanggap 'yung mga nagnanakaw pa rin sa mga bagahe kasi, I'm sure, hindi lang naman sa amin nangyari 'yon,” he said.
Despite what happened, Vanjo said that they still managed to enjoy their vacation in the Philippines, adding that they chose to focus on the good things that happened.
Vanjo and his family are not the first who recently experienced “luggage looting” as TikTok creator Ady Cotocoy also lost gifts he was planning to give when he visited the Philippines in September.
