Jayson Castro
Jayson Castro is often referred to as one of the best pointguards in Asia. He earned the monicker 'The Blur' and is a proud graduate of the Philippine Christian University, where he helped his school win an NCAA championship. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Management in 2016. Jayson plays for the TNT KaTropa in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Terrence Romeo
Terrence Romeo is a product of the basketball collegiate program of UAAP powerhouse Far Eastern University Tamaraws. The Cavite-born guard was hailed as the Rookie of the Year in UAAP in 2010. He stands 5'10 and plays also for the TNT KaTropa. Terrence was onceromantically linked to Kapamilya comedian Vice Ganda, but the two have not confirmed anything about their real score. Calvin Abueva
Calvin Abueva, called 'The Beast' in the PBA, stands 6'2. He played for the San Sebastian Stags in the NCAA where he won a championship for his school in 2009. Calvin also bagged the NCAA MVP trophy in 2011. In the professional league, he plays for Alaska Aces. In a recent interview, Alaska head coach Alex Compton confirmed that The Beast has not trained with the team since the PBA All-Star Games, because he is dealing with some personal issues.
Japeth Aguilar
Japeth Aguilar is a towering presence for Gilas Pilipinas with a height of 6'8 (208 CM). He first played for the Ateneo de Manila University during his collegiate years then transferred to the NCAA Division I school Western Kentucky in the U.S. Japeth was also drafted in the NBA D-League for the Santa Cruz Warriors. Japeth was lucky he didn't suffer any bone fracture after an awkward fall during a PBA game last January 2017. Aguilar is part of the roster of the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings.
Troy Rosario
Gilas cager Troy Rosario suited up for the National University Bulldogs in the UAAP. He stands at an impressive height of 6'7 (201 CM). Troy is the eldest brother of Arellano University volleybelle Christine Joy Rosario who is a NCAA champion. He plays for the TNT KaTropa in the PBA, the basketball star also made the headlines last February 2018 when he landed face first to the floor during the TNT and Barangay Ginebramatch-up.
Roger Ray Pogoy
Roger Ray Pogoy is a Cebuano sharp shooter with a height of 5'11 (182 CM). He was born in a coastal town called Cansojong in Talisay, Cebu on June 16, 1992. He played in high school for the University of Cebu and moved to Manila during his collegiate years to play for the Far Eastern University.
Carl Bryan Cruz
Carl Bryan Cruz also played for five years for the Far Eastern University. The 6'3 (193 CM) cager is part of the Alaska Aces in the professional league PBA.
Andray Blatche
Andray Blatche used to play for Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. He is a towering figure in Gilas Pilipinas at 6'11 and was naturalized in 2014 via Republic Act No. 10636 so he can play for the national team.
