A looker like Marian Rivera usually comes with an inevitable package – adoring guys who fall at her feet. iGMA asked this afternoon drama princess and recent primetime success about what she really thinks of the celebrity men in her life. What type of guy can sweep Marian Rivera off her feet? “Hindi naman ‘yung gwapong-gwapo,” she says. “Mas importante sa akin ‘yung mahal ako bilang ako. ‘Yung pagiging makulit ko. At syempre ‘yung iintindihin ako, ‘yung sweet sa akin. ‘Yung lagi akong inaalala.” “May nagugustuhan (ako na guy) na non-showbiz,” fessed up this pretty gal. Marian refused to comment any further, so we proceeded to asking what we interviewed her for. “Among the actors in Philippines showbiz, who do you find attractive?” we asked her. “Wala. Siguro dati, pero hindi na siya importante ngayon, di ba?” “What can you say about Gabby Eigenmann?” We just had to pop this question, especially since the two have been linked by the perennial matchmaker that is showbiz. “Kasi si Gabby at saka ako, nagkataon lang na okay kami, nasa Super Twins siya, nasa Muli siya. At saka mabait na tao si Gabby, walang ere, pag kausap mo, okay. Totoong tao din. Ayoko kasi ng mga mayayabang. Siya, okay siya eh. Kahit saan, pwede.” How about Dennis Trillo? “Ah, si Dennis? Same manager kami niyan! Ano masasabi ko dyan? Kapatid (ko na siya)!” “Oyo Sotto?” “Si Oyo kasi, maalaga din ‘yan, eh. Mabait. Asikaso ka talaga.” And last but not the least – Alfred Vargas? “Hay naku, si Alfred – sobrang bait din niyan sa akin! Paano ba naman hindi magiging okay, eh ‘yung girlfriend niya, kaibigan ko! Si LJ (Reyes)! Lagi ka ring iniintindi niyan, ‘O kain na tayo, halika na dito!’” One of the boys Marian describes herself as “one of the boys,” and her close guy friends in showbiz seem to be extremely protective. Case in point: They don’t want her to pose for FHM! “Sina Gabby (Eigenmann) at Alfred (Vargas), basta maraming nagco-comment sa akin – pati si Victor Neri! Sinasabi sa akin, ‘Never ka magpo-pose sa FHM!’ Ayaw nila! Hindi naman daw lahat ng gumaganoon, sumisikat. ‘Gamitin mo pag-arte mo, doon lang, hatak ka na pataas!’” It never really entered Marian’s mind to pose for men’s magazines to gain instant attention, because she knows her limitations. “Sabi ko, hindi naman ako ‘yun, eh. Bakit kailangan ko magpasexy para lang mapansin?” Kung ano ibigay na blessings sa akin, eh di tatanggapin.” Part of Marian’s dreams for the future include getting married in about 10 years and having a lot of kids, especially since she is an only child in her family. “Gusto ko, basketball team!” she jokes. “Hindi, hindi naman, OA, pero madami, masaya! Hindi importante kung puro lalaki, puro babae. Importante, healthy at mababait.” She adds, “Minsan, dumadating na lang sa buhay mo na gusto mo nang mag-settle down.
