Bogart the Explorer welcomes second child
YouTube star Bogart the Explorer, or Marco Ho in real life, sends a message of hope and positivity as he welcomes his second child, another baby girl he named Moon.
Despite his celebrity status, Bogart was not exempted to the trials and misfortunes most people had to confront this year. It can be remembered that aside from the challenges he faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the YouTube star also met a near-fatal accident while surfing in February.
He shared, “2020 started AWFUL and even that is an understatement. From losing work, businesses, friends, family, idols and, very nearly, losing my life, this year had challenged myself and many others' resilience and ability to adapt.
"However, our past, miserable as it may have been, does not mean our future will suffer the same fate.
“As we approach the start of a new year we are yet reminded once again that this too shall pass. That the only thing that's constant is change. And that things are and will be changing for the better.
"New life and new opportunities await those who didn't and won't give up. That no matter what seemingly bad thing comes their way, there will always be something inherently good there too, if you know where to look.”
For Bogart, what gives him optimism for what the future holds are two of "the most amazing things in the world,” one of which is welcoming his second daughter.
He said, “Meet my beautiful daughter MOON who was born right when the province of Agusan del Sur, where we currently live, was being pounded by record breaking flooding.”
Aside from this good news, he also shared a new milestone in his career, being part of the biggest global comedy network in Asia, the Comedy Central Asia.
He went on, “Even after losing countless number of projects and opportunities, we debuted a new series #CommentaryRoastCC on every comedian's dream network, @comedycentralasia.”
Bogart also concluded his post with a few wise words for his followers.
He said, “REMEMBER you don't always have to STAY POSITIVE cause that's impossible, pero amping gihapon mo pirmi, mate and try to keep your chin up.
'You never know when your high tide is gonna come after that year-long low-tide. Surf dayon ta sa blessings!”
Bogart has an older daughter named Music who became his inspiration to lead a healthier and active lifestyle.
His family is the main reason why the YouTube star easily shed off 100 lbs in 9 months and return to his hometown in Davao.
