WATCH: Nar Cabico expresses gratitude to friend with a song

Musician and performer Nar Cabico shared a video of him performing "Your Song" by English singer and songwriter Elton John.

The performance was even more special to him as he dedicated it to his friend and former roommate, photographer and director Yong Tapang as a gesture of gratitude.

The two shared a home in the Philippines before Nar migrated to the United States to be with his husband.

He also revealed that the performance is only a short part of a full gig which he will be sharing soon.

"Your Song" is one of the tracks from Elton John's 1070 self-titled, second studio album 'Elton John.'

It was inducted to the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998 and has been covered by singers like Ellie Goulding and Lady Gaga.

Meanwhile, Nar recently collaborated with award-winning director Carlos Siguion-Reyna to produce a short musical film called "Ikaw ang Nakakasilaw na Ilaw at Superhero ng Buhay Mo."
