Snacks & Ladders is the latest casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic as the store announced the closure of its Maginhawa store.

On Facebook, Snacks & Ladders revealed that they could not maintain their physical store in Quezon City because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Based on the guidelines of the government, dine-in capacity of restaurants is only limited to be able to observe physical distancing guidelines.

“For almost 5 years, Snacks and Ladders has been a home for geeks, foodies, and gamers,” the statement read.

“We're honored to have shared our customers' special life moments. We have been there for your baby showers, 1st birthdays, debuts, proposals, reunions, parties, prenup photo shoots, and even an actual wedding.

“We are humbled by your trust in us and we are forever grateful for the experience of serving you and playing with you all these years.

“Sadly, the recent pandemic has impacted us a lot and we will no longer be able to maintain the physical restaurant in Maginhawa that we've all grown to love. We will not be operating at our dine in facility anymore.

“We will continue to strive to be able to bring back the happiness that we've witnessed within the walls of Snacks & Ladders.

“We will still be open for deliveries until we find a new home. Please do continue to support us by ordering your favorites from us through bit.ly/snlonline.

“Snacks and Ladders is not the place. It's the community. We will continue to deliver food and games to you until we can all physically play together again someday! Thank you so much!”

Snacks & Ladders joins a long list of popular businesses that were forced to shut down its doors because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
