Neil Sese advocates for bikers and bike lanes following his experience as a bike delivery guy
Neil Sese calls for respect for fellow bikers and the need for bike lanes after personally experiencing pedaling his way through traffic as a bike delivery guy.
Neil ventured into a seafood business as an alternative source of income during the quarantine period due to the COVID-19 crisis. Oftentimes, even the actor goes out of his home to personally deliver orders on his bike.
In a short documentary produced and published by Padyak Exploration, Neil gave a peek at how his day goes as a food courier on a bike.
He shared how he became both the witness and player in the Filipino's act of bayanihan after receiving support from his friends from inside and outside of showbiz for his new business, and in getting the chance to provide an alternative source of livelihood for other people affected by the pandemic.
Kasi noong una talaga, noong first few weeks nila, 'yung isa parang naluha pa noong malaki 'yung kinita niya e. First day niya, PhP 850, parang ganun.
But more than the financial benefits he gains from his experience, Neil shared the importance of advocating for road safety for bikers.
He said, “Para sa mga biker naman, bike lanes, dapat dagdagan.
He also emphasized the value and hard work of his fellow delivery guys.
