Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey grace the cover of a local magazine

After much speculation, Pia Wurtzbach and Jeremy Jauncey are making their relationship “magazine” official as they grace the cover of Philippine Tatler's June issue.

The Miss Universe 2015 and Beautiful Destinations CEO is seen arm in arm in the cover as photographed by acclaimed photographer Nigel Barker against the Hudson Yards Mall in New York City.

In the magazine, Pia and Jeremy spoke openly about their modern love as they face the challenges of a jet-setting lifestyle.

The two recount that they first crossed paths in London where Jeremy first approached Pia.

She details, “He came up to me and told me about how much he loved the Philippines, where he had been to a few times for work. There was an immediate spark. We couldn't stop talking. I found him to be such a warm person and I like that he was always smiling.”

According to the couple, it took a while for Pia and Jeremy to become exclusive because the beauty queen was not actively looking for a romantic partner. And fortunately for her, Jeremy agreed with her wishes.

He tells the interviewer, “She set the parameters, and I happily accepted. It was a chance to show that I was serious about her and that I wanted to be a gentleman about it, which was very important to me.

“Imagine we first met in London, then Hong Kong, then Indonesia, and then New York --- talk about unconventional. I don't think either of us would have invested if we didn't think early on that it was worth it.”

When asked what they loved about each other, Pia shares that she finds Jeremy's drive and passion so inspiring.

Adding, “I never thought I would find a guy who is just as motivated as I am --- and then he came along. I felt like I met my male version! He is so passionate about business and health; I've been learning so much from him.”

Meanwhile, Jeremy shares, “Pia is a strong independent woman that always delivers while being kind, loving, and sweet. People know her for her Miss Universe success, but she also has great business instincts and is just as switched on behind the camera. Plus, she's even more genuine when you meet her in person.”

The two were rumored to be in a relationship in early 2020 when eagle-eyed netizens hinted that the former beauty queen has found love in Jeremy by connecting their posts on Instagram.

Although they did not deny the relationship, Pia and Jeremy clarified in the interview the posts were unintentional.

Pia shares, “Jeremy and I appreciate the support even though we have not confirmed anything yet. We wanted to make sure we set a good foundation for our relationship before we came out in the open.

“I've made the mistake of sharing too much too soon before, and I wanted to make sure I did it right this time.”
