Karel Marquez steps up for frontliners amid Coronavirus scare.

In this time of 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) crisis, many have stepped up in lending a helping hand with the needy, may it be an ordinary person, a billionaire, young or old.

But who else is at most risk of transmission than health workers and other frontliners who continue giving people the service they deserve in spite of the threat of contamination.

Using their influence, some celebrities have also taken part on doing Coronavirus efforts in a bid to combat the spread of the deadly virus.

The latest celebrity who has shown relentless support through our health workers is actress Karel Marquez. She decided to help them by delivering out free comfort meals right at hospital doorsteps.

Accompanied by a photo of packed meals, Karel shared the good deed on her Instagram.

...Decided to push through will all pending orders for this month. 🧡 I shall buy all the fresh ingredients for the 40 kilo orders para sa week na ito, and I will make another 20 kilos and put them in containers with rice. It may not be much for everyone but I think makaka dami din ng rice meals sana, Lord. Help me. 🙏🏻 Maybe every 2-3 days I can do this during the enhanced quarantine and have hubby come with me to drop off at hospitals also nearby. I hope our #frontliners will like the taste too though of @mommakarelskitchen 🙈🙈🙈 and hope ganahan sila to continue to be our heroes now through comfort food. Walang wala ang pagluluto ko for them compared to the sacrifices they do every single day, risking their lives at work during this global health crisis. Salamat po sa inyo, aming mga health care workers! #doctors #nurses #caregivers #healthworkers 🇵🇭 @mommakarelskitchen #mommakarelsoupkitchen

No one will be allowed to take the MRT, LRT, PNR, jeeps, UV Express vans, and tricycles. Only private vehicles of people exempted from the travel restriction will be allowed on the roads.

The government has previously implemented the practice of home quarantine in Metro Manila and 8pm to 5am curfew which took place on March 15.

The reported number of corona-patients spiked to 187 as of March 17.
