After her stint at My Guitar Princess last year, Kapuso actress Sheryl Cruz is gearing up once again for a new role in Magkaagaw.
Sheryl will be playing the role of Veron, an ambitious woman whose desire to climb the corporate ladder has led her husband to leave her for another woman.
When asked about the issue of women following their career versus love, the actress couldn't help but laugh on the issue.
“Well people shouldn't take it against women,” she answered.
“Especially millennials na 'di ba ngayon? We're all in a different generation.
“We have to accept that generations change and work ethics change.
“Kung 'yung generations before more family-oriented and they're more into settling down at a younger age, then we can't take it against them either.”
Similarly, the 45-year-old actress debunked the idea that it's a man's world in the corporate setting.
She claimed, “Aminin man natin o hindi, umaariba na rin ang mga kababaihan --sa lahat ng workplaces, of all different professions, I don't think we should take it against them.
“It should be a two-way street. It can't just be a chauvinistic man's world.
“Besides, wala naman ang mga lalaki kung walang mga babae kasi hindi naman sila magiging anak ng mga babae. Hindi naman sila ipapanganak kung walang babae.
“So aminin na natin, kudos to all women.”
