Public school already held their first day of class last June 3 and Kapuso actress Therese Malvar shared some tips to students for a stress-free school year.
Therese suggested that students need to have motivations and inspirations in order for them to get going especially in a work-filled school year.
She explained, “Always find inspiration to achieve certain things lalo na sa school, lalo na sa acads.”
Therese added that without motivation, we would become lazy.
“Kasi kapag nawalan ka ng inspiration, tayo yung talo [dahil] magiging lazy tayo.”
Students should also avoid procrastinating unless they know they are better when under pressure.
Therese saw the beauty in the power of time pressure explaining, “Kung [procrastinating] yung gumagana sa'yo, kasi minsan gumagana 'yun sa akin, then do it.”
She added that students can choose to enjoy with their friends and classmates if they can motivate you to be a better student.
“Enjoy with your friends and classmates, kasi 'yun yung isa talaga sa motivation.”
She also stressed that students should not pressure themselves, “Wala namang madi-dissapoint sa'yo kasi mahal ka pa rin ng pamilya mo.”
Lastly, Therese noted that believing in one's self can make a huge impact in the life of the students.
“Una pa lang, believe in yourself kasi no matter how many people compliment you and say na magaling ka and you can do it,” she explained.
“If you don't believe in yourself, chain reaction na yan na hindi mo magagawa yung best mo, mahihiya ka, hindi ka na makakagalaw masyado.”
“It really comes from within. If you believe in yourself, you can do it.”
