Kris Aquino declared her freedom from any romantic involvement as she celebrated Independence Day yesterday, June 12.
In a video which is an excerpt of her four-part ‘Unscripted with Kris’ episode, the Queen of All Media stated that she is no longer considering entering any relationship.
Kris explained, “I made a choice. I made a decision because every serious relationship I’ve had lasted four years. And hinintay ko siya ng four years. Lumipas na ‘yung four years, so I said I’m done. Independence day, so I’m declaring my independence.”
While she omitted the name of the person she is referring to, she took the opportunity to address him in the video.
“Thank you when I needed someone, you were there but I’m okay already. 'Di mo na ako kailangan i-check kasi emotionally healed, financially, professionally in a good place. So this is the perfect time. This is the perfect time for me to say thank you. I wish for your happiness is not a lie,” she said.
