It was bittersweet for Magnolia Hotshots veteran forward Marc Pingris that he will not be there to provide additional firepower to his team in the Philippine Cup Finals.

The Hotshots will be squaring off with San Miguel Beermen, after they diposed the NLEX Road Warriors in the Game 6 semifinal series by beating them with a score of 96-89.

Marc suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury last March 10 and has undergone operation last week.

The PBA cager posted this message on Instagram to inspire his teammates for their looming game against the Beermen.

“Thank you Lord! Sa mga teammate, ko super proud ako sa inyo sa lahat ng ginawa n'yo para makapasok tayo sa finals! Sorry at dahil 'di ako makaka tulong ngayon pero 'wag nyo kalimutan pwede ako sumigaw. Sa lahat ng mga fans salamat. FINALS NA TAYO!!!!  #proud #finals #pusongmagnolia,” saad niya.
