South Korean actor Alexander Lee has been in the Philippines for almost four months now filming and promoting his show, My Korean Jagiya. During his stay here, Alexander has missed a few special events in South Korea such as Hangeul Day and the three-day holiday of Chuseok.

With all the hard work and success that Alexander is achieving in the country, is the My Korean Jagiya leading man starting to feel homesick?

"Honestly, of course, I do feel homesick, especially during 'Chuseok' or 'Korean Thanksgiving Day.' I normally would spend time with family and go to Han River in Seoul for a picnic. Homesickness finally appeared and it hit me hard," Alexander admitted in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com

Despite feeling homesick, Alexander is glad to have his co-stars and the people behind My Korean Jagiya such as Heart Evangelista, Janice de Belen, and Direk Mark Reyes with him.

According to him, "However I’m so blessed because I have my My Korean Jagiya family. They would invite me over and have a gathering so I feel like home, it really helped me a lot when I got homesick. I'm so thankful to them."
