The choice to celebrate his birthday with special kids was a no-brainer for Miguel because he remains to be touched by his character Niño, even if it has been two years since he portrayed the role.
Miguel spent the afternoon playing with, dancing for and serving food to the kids. He found the experience to be enjoyable and appreciated the warmth with which he was welcomed with.

For his eighteenth birthday, he does not wish for anything material, but rather, stronger relationships, safety for his loved ones and a more peaceful world.
[Also] world peace and magmahalan po tayong lahat,” he concluded.
