During an interview for National Teacher's month, Benjamin Alves talked about what's the best advice he got from his favorite teacher.

He joked, "[He said,] 'The business, you can learn that over the weekend.' Sabi niyang ganun sa akin. No, I was just kidding."

On a serious note, Benj says that having one focus is something he learned from his professor. The actor explained, "He [my teacher] said that, 'it’s better to be a master of something than be good at a lot of things'"

He expounded, "You know, when people see you, they know what you’re about, may focus 'yung direction mo. And that’s better than knowing a lot of things, than being everywhere, because it lacks focus, he said. When you grow older, it’s better to have focus. Knowing you’re passionate about something, when someone asks you to talk about it, you can talk about it for hours."
