King of Talk Boy Abunda was recognized as the Best Celebrity Talk Show host in the recent 38th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Television. While he is best known for his work as a TV and talk show host, it was not the starting point of his career.
Tito Boy, as many people and celebrities know him, took on many odd jobs to support himself before landing a position as a stage actor, and eventually, as an assistant stage manager.
In no time at all, Tito Boy got his first hosting job with GMA Network's late-night variety talk show 'Show and Tell,' and the afternoon talk show 'Startalk.' From then on, the veteran host became one of the main hosts of several talk shows, eventually leading to Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
