Olivia Rodrigo feels like 'the luckiest girl alive' as she turns 22
Filipino-American musician Olivia Rodrigo just celebrated another year of life, and on her special day, Olivia expressed her gratitude, saying she's "the luckiest girl alive."
Olivia showed her birthday celebration spent with friends and captioned her post, "thank u for all the birthday wishes!!! I feel like the luckiest girl alive!!! grateful for this year and all the love, friendship, music, magic and spaghetti I got to experience! cheers to 22!!!"
Among the friends included in her post were musicians and friends Conan Gray, Laufey, Joe Locke, Iris Scott, and Madison Hu.
Olivia also got a birthday greeting from Rosé of Blackpink.
The award-winning singer was nominated at the 67th Grammy Awards for Best Song Written For Visual Media for her song "Can't Catch Me Now" from "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes."
In October 2024, Olivia made her first trip to the Philippines for her sold-out GUTS World Tour performance at the Philippine Arena.
She shared that her visit to the Philippines was a tour highlight. In addition to the concert, Olivia took part in a boodle fight and explored Intramuros with her boyfriend, British actor Louis Partridge.

During her performance of So American, she changed the lyrics to So Filipina. She said that during that night she was feeling so Filipina that made her fans scream at the top of their lungs.

The pop star said that her family on her father's side are Filipino. She shared that she visited the Philippines a month ago and described it as the biggest show of her career.

Olivia heard that Filipinos are good at karaoke, and witnessed it at her concert. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon for 'The Tonight Show,' Olivia raved about her Filipino audience: "Perfectly on pitch. Perfectly on cue."
