Where is TJ Trinidad now?
When the film Quezon was announced earlier this month, many were speculating that seasoned actor TJ Trinidad didn't reprise his role as President Manuel L. Quezon, when he already portrayed the same character in the 2019 film Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.
Jericho Rosales was picked by the movie's producer TBA Studios to portray the older version of Quezon, while Kapuso actor Benjamin Alves reprise his role as the young version of the president.
According to the studio, TJ has commitment outside showbiz that he can't leave, so they needed to find another actor to portray the role.

Actor TJ Trinidad was active in show business in the early 2000s, when he became part of the movie Aishite Imasu 1941: Mahal Kita and the series Basta't Kasama Kita.
Notable roles
In GMA, TJ was part of several series such as Zorro, the Philippine adaptation of Stairway to Heaven, Captain Barbell: Ang Pagbabalik, The Rich Man's Daughter, and Mulawin vs Ravena.
The Gift
In 2019, TJ's last television show was when he made a special participation in the Kapuso series The Gift starring Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards.

In 2018, TJ became involved in the trilogy of TBA Studios when he portrayed former president Manuel L. Quezon in the movie Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral. TJ portrayed the older version of Quezon while Kapuso actor Benjamin Alves portrayed him when he was still a lieutenant.
