Alex Gonzaga pens heartfelt message after 3rd miscarriage
Alex Gonzaga penned a heartfelt message after news broke out that she and husband Mikee Morada suffered their third miscarriage last December.
Alex shared some of their photos on Instagram as she assured her fans that they would be okay.
She wrote, "As long as we have love and faith in God, we will be okay. This is the small but beautiful miracle we hold onto. We will never forget that moment when God blessed us with the sight of an embryo and the sound of a heartbeat in my womb."
Alex then thanked everyone who had their backs while they were suffering.
"To everyone who has messaged, sent gifts, and prayed with us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Salamat po. All your kindness and words mean so much to us.
"It's so overwhelming to know na napakarami sa inyo ang kasama namin ni Mikee in prayer, hoping for the day we become parents.
"In His perfect time, we believe. Walang susuko."
In an interview with Toni Talks, Mikee remembered their lowest moment as a married couple last year. He said that they had heard their baby's heartbeat, and he even took a photo of the ultrasound.
Unfortunately, the baby lost its heartbeat on December 28.
“Dumating 'yung December 28, nakita namin 'yung embryo pero wala na siyang heartbeat," he recalled.
Alex and Mikee started dating in 2016. The couple tied the knot last November 2020.

In an online news report, the management of the OPM singer, Conerstone Entertainment, confirmed that Kyla suffered a miscarriage. Neither Kyla nor her family revealed details of the unfortunate event to the media (as of writing). The former 'Popstar Kids' host has a son with PBA cager Rich Alvarez.
