Get to know Jam Villanueva, Anthony Jennings's ex-girlfriend
Jam Villanueva broke her silence by sharing screenshots of alleged messages between her ex-boyfriend actor Anthony Jennings and actress Maris Racal.
Even before airing her sentiments, Jam is a content creator and became more well-known by the public as Anthony's longtime girlfriend. The former couple were together for seven years before their breakup in 2024.
On December 4, Jam addressed the speculation surrounding her breakup with Anthony after netizens noticed her posting content on X (formerly Twitter) related to loyalty in the past months.
She mentioned this in an Instagram Story on December 3, 2024. "I ended things with him as peacefully as I can, but I was hurt and devastated hence the TikTok reposts."
Jam also wrote on her Instagram Story, "I'm grateful that Anthony finally chose to speak the truth because I had been carrying the weight of it all on my own for so long.
"It's painful to be attacked by others when all I ever wanted was to protect my personal life and to protect him out of respect.
When Maris came into the picture, I was genuinely happy for you both.
"I even chose to be supportive, despite the red flags I couldn't ignore. I respected your craft. I believed in you both. But betrayal like this cuts deep.
"This is my truth, and sharing it is my way of moving forward-not with anger, but with strength, hope, and the belief that better days are ahead.
She also has a message for women in another Instagram Story, "To all the women reading this, don't be like me. It took me three long months to finally accept that I was just ignoring the reality of the situation. The sleepless nights, crying and anxiety attacks and sabotaging yourself--for those three months, I blamed myself for everything I thought, felt, and saw during that time.
"I convinced myself I was just overthinking and overreacting because I desperately wanted to see the good in the situation.
I allowed this to happen because I thought it was the best way to support them both. Most importantly, I trusted my partner and her as a woman.
"This isn't easy especially when he texts me. I catch myself wanting to reply, wishing things could just go back to how they were. But I'm grateful for the people who've found strength in my story, and whose hearts I've touched. They remind me that sharing my truth isn't just about my own healing, it's about empowering others to find the courage to embrace theirs. So if you ever find yourself in the same shoes as me, I hope you can gather the strength to put yourself first and protect your peace."'

People saw it and nakarating din sa kanya yun, and that day na nag-viral 'yng issue about the reposts he keeps messaging me things like this," she said in her Instagram Story, referring to Anthony asking her to avoid revealing more information about their breakup.

Although Jam said she had her doubts, she believed Anthony's closeness to Maris was all for their acting careers. She also revealed Anthony asked her to keep her social media accounts private. "He told me that they were going to stop things between them as long as I made my account private and stayed quiet," Jam revealed.
