Ever wondered what is the meaning of the names of your favorite Kapuso stars?
ATM (Adventure. Taste. Moments), the lifestyle YouTube channel of GMA Network, previously introduced their online exclusive video series, "7 Random Questions."
In the video, artists are asked seven quick questions to let their fans and followers get to know them more and one of the questions included is the meaning of their names, either their real names or their screen names.

Barbie Forteza
Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza said she was named Barbie after her older sister asked for a Barbie doll from their mother, "Kasi yung ate ko, humingi siya ng Barbie [doll] sa nanay ko. So, ito na ko ngayon, real life Barbie,”
Sanya Lopez
Pulang Araw star Sanya Lopez, whose real name is Shaira Lenn Osuna Roberto, explained that "Sanya" is an Indian name, while "Lopez" came from her closest aunt.
Julie Anne San Jose
Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose said she was named "Julie Anne" because her mom's favorite celebrity while pregnant with her was Hollywood star Julie Andrews.
Rayver Cruz
Asawa ng Asawa Ko star Rayver Cruz said "Rayver" came from his full name, Raymond Oliver.
Ruru Madrid
When Black Rider star Ruru Madrid was asked why their parents named him and his siblings Ruru, Rere, and Rara, he answered, "Sinabi nga ng magulang ko sa 'kin na para daw 'pag kakain, mas madali daw tawagin."
Bianca Umali
Sang'gre star Bianca Umali's full name is Maria Isadora Bianca. According to her, "Isadora" means "brave," while "Bianca" means "white."
Rita Daniela
The origin of Rita Daniela's name began with her being born on the same day as St. Rita's feast day, while "Daniela" came from one of her mom's closest friends, Vivian Velez. Rita recounted that before she was born, Vivian told her mom that she will pay for the hospital bills should Rita be born on the same day as her son and she will be named "Daniela."
Ken Chan
Ken Chan said "Ken" is a city in Japan, while "Steven" is from the name of Hollywood action star Steven Seagal.
Angel Guardian
As much as it seemed planned, Sang'gre actress Angel Guardian said her name was coincidental. "'Yung Guardian, last name siya ng mom ko. Growing up, gamit ko yung last name ng dad ko, but then eventually, maraming pangyayari, naging Guardian yung last name ko... Hindi ko rin inexpect na magiging Angel Grace Guardian 'yung name ko. Kaya hindi na ko nagdecide na gumawa ng screen name kasi parang si Lord na yung nagbigay ng name ko," she explained.
Lexi Gonzales
Running Man PH runner Lexi Gonzales said "Lexi" is from her name Alexandra, which came from Alexander the Great.
Buboy Villar
Buboy Villar said his screen name "Buboy" came from his character of the same name in the 2008 series, Dyesebel, led by Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
