Rising star Shaira Moro has been taking over the internet after her song "Selos" trended on online platforms such as TikTok.
Now dubbed as the Queen of B-pop or Bangsamoro Pop, her fame quickly came along with controversy as Australian singer Lenka and her team took legal action against Shaira for allegedly using the melody of Lenka's song "Trouble is a Friend."
Shaira's recording label AHS Channel removed the song from streaming platforms, nonetheless, she has expressed her gratitude during an interview with Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.
"Masarap po sa pakiramdam. Proud ako sa sarili ko. Napapag-aral ko 'yung sarili ko dahil sa pagkanta-kanta ko tuwing gabi," Shaira said, as she is is ready to graduate with a degree in Social Work.
