Shuvee Etrata's first dream is to become Miss Universe
Former Hearts on Ice star Shuvee Etrata admitted that while she enjoys being an actress, it was not her goal at all. Instead, her first dream was to join beauty pageants and eventually become Miss Universe.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com during the Kapuso at Kasambuhay ng Kalikasan coastal cleanup event on Friday (September 8), Shuvee revealed that joining the national pageant Hiyas ng Pilipinas when she was young opened a lot of opportunities for her and expressed her desire to become Miss Universe.
However, the budding actress said that she would like to focus first on improving herself.
“Right now, I focus more on enhancing my skills and improving my parang also my personality, lahat-lahat, para full package na when I'm there,” she said
She clarified, “I'm still bata pa naman, so probably two to three years from now, I'll join again.”
Shuvee also revealed that she's busy doing acting workshops with Ana Feleo to improve on and make her better in her craft of acting. When asked how the workshop has been, she said, “Ay, grabe!”
“May mga level kasi, hindi ko ine-expect na mapupunta ako sa level three. 'Yung level three, medyo challenging kasi sa personality pero I enjoy it a lot,” she said.
“I'm learning a lot from Miss Ana, and I'm very thankful na free siya and nabibigay siya sa'min ng Sparkle and I'm so happy to learn,” she added.
When asked what roles would she like to play next, Shuvee said that she's not too picky when it comes to roles.
“I'm guided by Miss Ana Feleo so confident naman ako, kung ano man ibigay ng GMA, I'm sure it will be good for me,” she said.
Shuvee revealed that she's been working on a project for Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko with actress Jillian Ward. She also said that she'll be guesting on several episodes of Farm to Table.

Crush
Shuvee has a big crush on Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards. In an interview with GMANetwork.com, she revealed that she even skipped classes just to watch AlDub's "Kalyeserye" on 'Eat Bulaga.'
Ideal man
Her ideal man is Cha Eun-woo, a South Korean singer, actor, and member of the idol group 'ASTRO'.
Idol
Her favorite actress is Bea Alonzo. In an interview, Shuvee also mentioned that she's a fan of the 'Start-Up Ph' star since she was a child.
Projects
After her career blossomed on TikTok, she was offered several projects including digital short films, movie, and endorsements.
Dream
After watching her favorite show, 'Maria Clara at Ibarra,' Shuvee looks forward to be part of a historical series of GMA.
Sparkle
Shuvee still feels surreal about being part of Sparkle GMA Artist Center and finally having her big break! "Hanggang ngayon po, hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. Sobra pong blessed ako dahil nandito po ako ngayon. Sino po bang mag aakala na ang isang island girl from Cebu, makakarating po ng Manila at magiging Sparkle GMA Artist po? Sobra pa po sa kahabaan ng EDSA ang kasiyahan ko po!" she said
