Actress Julia Montes teased her followers with a cryptic post on Instagram carrying only a broken heart emoji and a date.
While many speculated that this was about her personal life, Julia was actually giving out a clue about her exciting new project. In fact, it has finally been revealed today, April 18, that she will be paired with Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards for a film.
Called 'Five Break-ups and a Romance,' the film will be directed by Irene Villamor and is co-produced by GMA Pictures, Cornerstone Studios, and Myriad, a multimedia company founded by Alden.
"Na-excite ako with the idea of me being paired with Julia kasi I know how brilliant of an actress she is," Alden said of Julia's acting prowess.
Julia returned the complement and praised her co-star's good attitude. "Hindi pa kami masyadong matagal na nagsu-shoot pero na-appreciate ko," she said referring to his demeanor.
She added, "That's why Alden Richards is Alden Richards. Alam ko na kung bakit."

She has a small role in GMA Network's 2001 drama series 'Sana ay Ikaw na Nga,' where she starred as the daughter of Robin Da Rosa and Angelu de Leon's characters.

She was raised by her mother and grandmother after her father left them when she was just a baby. She reunited with her father Martin Schnittka in 2016.
